All The Adventure Without The Crowds
Explore the Broadwater and estuary. Walk the sand flats and beaches. If fishing is your thing you can fish from the banks or in your own small tinny. The protected waterway is perfect for your kayaks or kite surfer, and the kids can have a great time, swimming, chasing soldier crabs or flying their kites on the open flats at low tide.
Enjoy some of the best fishing in the region at Broadwater Haven. The pristine and unpolluted waterways have seen many a good catch over time. Boats are launched from about half tide up depending on tide heights at the time. We are only 9 kilometres away from the Baffle Creek boat ramp, so for those that want to fish the Baffle as well, it’s only a short drive away.
We are situated approximately halfway between Bundaberg and Gladstone, just to the north of Baffle Creek on the Broadwater, the estuary of Deepwater, Mitchell, Blackwater and Cow Creeks.
Fantastic spot, right on the estuary for fishing. When the tide is out lots of beach to explore and pools to investigate with the kids. Just a wholly fantastic place to stay, very relaxing. Owners are great. Really enjoyed our 3 night stay – Susanne L
It’s not often that advertising blurb fully lives up to expectations, but this beachside eco-certified and award-winning accommodation, which promises peace and tranquility in a piece of paradise, fully delivers – Nicky
Camp kitchen has BBQs and most importantly a crab cooker. Staff very friendly and helpful. Caught some nice whiting and got a feed of crabs. Baffle Creek store and bottle shop is about 20 min drive if you run out of supplies. We all had a great time – Mick
